Frequently asked
The extension isn't showing on my new tab.+
In Chrome, open chrome://extensions, make sure Ten Laws is enabled, then open a new tab. If a different extension also overrides the new tab, Chrome will let only one of them win — disable the other one, or set Ten Laws to run last.
Where is my data stored? Is it synced across my devices?+
Everything is stored locally on your own device using Chrome's storage APIs — nothing is sent to Photoxpedia or to any server. If you sign into Chrome on multiple computers, Chrome itself may sync extension storage under your Google account; that sync is handled entirely by Google under their privacy terms, not by us.
The AI check / shrink buttons are missing.+
Those buttons only appear when Chrome's on-device Gemini Nano model is available in your browser. You need Chrome 138 or later on a supported device, with the built-in AI features enabled. When the model isn't available, the extension still works fully — the AI helpers are just hidden.
How do I export or reset my journal entries?+
To reset: right-click the Ten Laws icon in the Chrome toolbar and pick 'Remove from Chrome' (this wipes the extension's local storage), then reinstall from the Chrome Web Store. A dedicated export button is on the roadmap — email us if you need it sooner.
I found a bug or have a feature request.+
Email hi@photoxpedia.studio with a short description and, if possible, a screenshot. We read every message and reply within 24 hours.
Is Ten Laws free?+
Yes. It's free to install and use, with no accounts, no ads, and no upsells inside the extension.
